How to get makeup out of carpet

Blot first, then use a lightly damp clean cloth with cool water; these limited steps may not fully remove makeup from carpet.

1. Blot the stained carpet with a clean cloth to lift as much makeup as possible.
2. Fold a clean cloth and press it onto the spot until the carpet is as dry as possible.
3. Let the area dry completely.
4. Dampen a clean cloth with cool water, but do not soak the carpet.
5. Blot the stain with the damp cloth.
6. Blot again with a clean cloth to remove moisture.
7. Let the carpet dry thoroughly.
