How to get urine out of wood

Blot urine immediately with clean cloths, then clean with enzyme detergent using minimal cool water; the best outlook is with prompt treatment.

Blot up as much urine as possible with clean cloths.
Mix a small amount of enzyme detergent with cool water.
Dampen a clean cloth with the mixture and blot the stained area.
Dampen another clean cloth with cool water and blot to rinse lightly.
Wipe dry immediately with a clean cloth.
Repeat with enzyme detergent if odor remains after the wood is dry.

Don't do this

Do not rub; rubbing can spread the urine and work it deeper into the wood.
Do not use excess water; standing water can dull the finish, damage the wood, and leave discoloration.
